Build A Bear Workshop R&G (closed)

On Sunday We had the opportunity go to Build A Bear Workshop and to meet the store manager Cindy at the turner hill location in Atlanta. Which worked out well since it was on our direct route home.  Let me tell you what, Cindy and her staff are freaking fantastic. You want to Build a Friend go see them.   Below is a a slide show and I am throwing a ton of stuff at you today.

When you go in you are greeted almost instantaneously. You pick a friend. Blake chose the Army Bear and Nate a cute scruffy dog. From there you get to chose sounds. Each boy got a special message from Paul in paw. He is leaving for boot camp. Nate chose a barking sound. Blake got the Jonas Brothers Band so his Army Bear could rock out. We are going to buy a replacement pack for each just in-case they stop working. I overheard another customer worried about it. Once our sounds were picked out, we went to the stuffer. After being huggable or soft your choice. You chose a heart. Here how that works

see really cool stuff. From there you have to give your new friend a bath. He/she is allergic to water. OH NO!!!

After that you dress your friend. Nathan chose star wars and roller skates. Blake chose army garb that will look likes daddy’s. so very cute. This stores staff went above and beyond for being helpful. We had a great time with them. They were ringing bells and shouting happy mothers day in the middle of the mall. Dancing around the store. Getting involved with my kids. We came at a slow time. If you call the store itself they will tell you the more quite times to visit.

When you finish there you choose a name and make a birth certificate. You can take the kids online to play with their bear. We are working on this and just haven’t made it that far. If you can’t think of a name they have a name book. How cool is that? They also add a bar code in your bear. That if it gets lost they will return your bear. We had a great time!

A HUGE THANK YOU  to Cindy and her  staff for hosting Caiafa Craziness.  I do have to say that Paul and I teared up a bit watching these boys interact. They usually are not so willing to interact with strangers. Blake has carried on for days about how Cindy gave him a reading bear pin off her Lanyard.  So  thank you very much.
