Doobie Brothers Review and Giveaway

My parents gave me the love of music. For as long as I can remember the Doobie Brothers have been a constant in my life. Today they release a new CD called the World Gone Crazy.

This is the first cd in that they have released in a Decade. The debut single is called Nobody.It is amazing. I feel this album is one that will have you up and wanting to groove around the house while you clean. The first track on the album is A Brighter day and it is just a make you feel good song. You can’t help but smile when you hear it.

It takes me back to the times we would travel with my dad. There wasn’t a vacation to Maine or the Vineyard that we didn’t Black Water or Listen to the Music. This album ranks right up there with those awesome Hits. I think they are going to have tremendous sales. I am so glad to see them embracing all the new social media as well. “Nobody debuted in the top 30 at Triple A stations, while the video is in rotation on VH1 Classic – a distinction reserved for new music from only the most iconic artists. And the Doobie Brothers certainly qualify when discussion turns to the most successful bands in American music history” according to the publicist.

I love Far From Home. It makes me think of my husband. I made the mistake of telling my kids I was planning a special trip for them when Old Juarez came on. Blake thought it meant we were going to Mexico. World Gone Crazy has something for everyone. I am a huge fan of Classic Rock. I could listen to this CD over and over and still not pick a favorite song. This is a CD I can’t find a song to skip over. The Doobie Brothers know how to make an entertaining compilation. I know that has played a key part in their forty year career. Can I just tell you they look fantastic.

If you listen to nothing else I say You must go buy this CD and a few others for christmas gifts. It is that good.
