Future Builder

My youngest has expected my husband to build him the following

a Time Machine, Rocket Pack, Airplane, a boat and horse.  Here is his latest

Those would be his buzz light year wings. So he is Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger.  He has an imagination Like no other. I love that we have worked so hard on the creative play. I think we need to reign in his reality a bit. We over compensated lol. Now he thinks he can really do these things. Poor Kid

His design of course. While he is running around outside in 100 degree weather with pj bottoms and his wings. He comes screeching in that a lizard is going to steal his construction vehicle. Really Nathan?? Color me confused.  As he is screaming “No Mama he is dribing it and it is my.”  His exact words. Grab my camera, I know this must be some huge lizard that is driving his 10 pound tonka truck away. Really I was expecting a Komodo Dragon or something. Ya know those lizards you see on the syfy channel? Nope instead I see this and try to stifle my laughs

Imagine my sad surprise when the truck wasn’t even moving. Yes this child has quite the imagination and I am happy that he is not as literal as his brother is.  This kid can make me laugh like no other. I went to pick up the phone to call my dad and I remembered he is gone. So I called my papa instead, who was in stitches as well. 

I have to share this because I haven’t had time to share this story. I have been joking with Paul when kids haven’t been around so I thought.  That Uncle Sam now owns his ass and He is going to get it beat in boot camp. Well Paul told Nathan no about having a second snack and as Nathan walks away in a huff ” Daddy this uncle Sam is going to kick your butt and I am calling him and telling him you need to do more” stomps off to bed. I had to go lock myself in the bedroom for that fit of laughter. Paul was none to impressed but I found it funny.
