Friday Night we went Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament. It is a BLAST. You all need to find one in your area. We had so much fun that we had a hard time settling down for the night.  The kids kept going on and on about the knights and the fights.

When you arrive you get your tickets and they hand you your table cards. We had stopped and had our picture taken with the King and Princess. This is party of the Kings Royalty Package.  They have different upgrades you can do.  Afterwards we walked around and got the kids swords and a drink. We had about 45 minutes until we went in. It went really quick. They had the falconer out with her falcon. They will take pictures with you. Do Not Touch the Falcon. Poor Bird was scared with the amount of kids coming to him. You can also stop and look in the castles window and see an owl that was Gorgeous.  They also have a knight swearing in. Very cool.  If you child has a sensory issue to loud then I suggest ear plugs. This is what we did with Blake and he was fine. It was enough to take the volume down. In the shop the kids had their pictures taken with a Knight who was the sweetest guy. Had the patience of a saint with all Nathans questions about his weapon.

Once you hear the trumpets you gather in the lobby and look at the balcony and you are greeted. From there you are called by your team and cheered and booed by your alliance or your enemy. You are then seated by your table number. So much fun! It is a big arena with table that go all around. On the Right side you have the balcony that the King and Princess are seated. you also have where the nights come out. At this point you have your waiter/waitress and they start serving your drinks. I should mention you have no silverware! My kids didn’t know what to think but soon had fun with it.
Our menu was the following
Garlic Bread, Tomato Bisque, Roasted Chicken, Spare Rib, Herb-Roasted Potato, Pastry of the Castle. Ours was an apple turn over. The food is AMAZING!!! In fact our boys are still talking about it. They loved the turn over. While you are eating you are watching an awesome set of talented men. The skill levels that these men have to put a jousting stick through a circle maybe 10 centimeters around is unreal. Here are a few videos of what we experienced

It truly was an amazing time. After dinner we sat and the horses came out again. They told us about the Ranch where the horses are trained and will retire. These horses are beautiful. I was in awe in their abilities. I think our motto for the night was wow.
Here is the video of all our pictures.

Thanks for posting about Midevil Times. The mister and I have debated taking our kids there but it’s so pricey I wanted to make sure it would be worth our money. It sounds perfect for our kids. What a great time!
