Nate and The Eye Doc
So today Nate and I ventured out to the eye doctors. I was ready for ah he is fine. Not so much what we got but not horrible either. Though I do feel like a crappy mom. Nate has said from time to time that his head hurts. I just chalked it up to him being dramatic. Apparently he is not dramatic. So what we found out explains his clumsy walk and falling. He has a significant Astigmatism. Also one eye is near and one eye far sited. So his head is fighting what to see. Poor kid.
He got the Glaucoma test done and he was none to happy. See
He was happy to have lunch with his daddy. Tomorrow we go and get him glasses.
Poor kid. Don’t beat yourself up too much. If he’s like my kids they cry wolf so much it’s hard to tell what’s real and what’s not until it’s an ongoing issue.

Him not so much. Blake yes. I found his head hurt when mine did. Though the last few weeks it has been more on his own. So it is very hard to know with him. He will tell you his throat hurts but point to his belly.

I know it’s easy to blame ourselves when something like this happens, it’s not your fault! I think kids in glasses are so cute! I can’t wait to see what he gets!!
