Not Telling the kids About Vacation

So I have decided I am not going to tell the kids about vacations any longer. Each time I mention seeing Daddy they get sick. We spent three long  drawn out hours at the doctors office today.  My list of annoyances there

If we have an appointment why did I have to wait 2 hours for a room and no reason as to what was taking so long

My kids screaming to go home and forget the ear pain should have been a clue to puts us in a room sooner than someone else complaining about it

How come people after us were seen first? Ice pack on hand eh been there done that…. Two screaming children not my cup of tea.

Those are only a few. At least if you are going to hold us out in the waiting room where people refuse to cover there mouth when coughing  you could provide toys and a television. I don’t care how many bones my hands, feet, spine and ribs I have. Thanks for the useless information. So after finally seeing the doctor we have 2 kids with sinus infections. Who oddly enough like the netti pod.

So when I go away in October sans kids I am not telling them what weekend. Therefore they can get sick when I come back. Maybe I can get lucky this year and they can get sick for Halloween. Then we could be out all the sugar in the house that I toss a little each day until it is completely gone by the 10th or I send into work with Paul.

So I am not going to say a thing, that is the new plan
