Reunited Briefly
On the 19th we were reunited briefly as a family. Those 10 hours were the best 10 hours we have had in months. I was so excited to see him. I spotted him first and that was it, I was off to hug my husband. Kids followed in hot pursuit of where Mom was going. Blake looked at him for a minute or two. To process if it was really Dad. Not Nate, He jumped right up and hugged his neck so tight. It was tearful moment. Then We took the picture above.
We were off for our day of fun. Breakfast at the Waffle House in Radcliff, was excellent. They have fantastic service there as well. We then went back to the hotel to give dad his goodies. We got him tons of snacks, a wooden carved box for his important stuff, a swiss army knife, a video of what we did this summer, a photo book for by his bed and some other stuff I can’t remember. Kids went to lay down with my mom. We got to relax. He got his hot shower that he has been waiting for.
Lunch we went to Cracker Barrel my kids favorite place in the world. We also went to the PX and the kids got ACU’s (uniform)So cute. They have lived in them since. I think this morning they finally walked off them. We went back to the hotel and the kids and him swam. It was really nice.
Dinner we did A&W. Then we had to say goodbye. I have tons of pictures and more indepth post that will show up throughout the week.

I know that was an exciting day. I enjoyed the big “wait” with you. I hope he gets to return soon.

Thank you. We get to go see him in 11 days at ait. We will be paying alot in dog sitting fees lol. we still have a few more months till he is home with us. I am sure it will be an adventure.
