Saturday Strolls
Yesterday Paul had to work a bit so it threw a monkey wrench in our plans. Luckily his Sargent knew just the place for us to see that is about 30 minutes away. We were off to visit Rudesheim. It is beautiful there. I have only edited a few pictures as we got in late. I will share those with you. I believe this is more of a tourist town since not many things were open. What was open we enjoyed.
We had lunch at Wiener Grille. In Germany all W sound like V. It was OK not our favorite place to eat but affordable. So Paul still owes a good German meal. His words not mine. We walked the Market place. That is much smaller than Wiesbadens. They had some great tourist shops. I was able to pick up a book I had been eyeing at our book store for 6 Euros less. So that was a big score for us. It shows all the castles and churches from Mainz to Cologne. Can’t wait to get out and see some more!
Today we are off and running again. We certinly are making use of our rental car. Hopefully our vehical will reach us soon
