Weekend Fun

I have had my husband home since early Thursday afternoon. We have been having some local free fun. Loving the weather her in Germany.

Thursday afternoon was Salute a hero day. Where the USO  got activities together for everyone for an amazing afternoon. Only wish it was a bit better organized. My kids had a blast. We met up with Single dad and his kids. Tons of fun!

There was some Fishing!

Even a suprise appearnce from Uncle Sam. He cracked My kids up. They were thrilled for another treat.

This chicken as well. No Idea what the chickens purpose was but Nate liked him.

We came home and who was here but the man who serves crack oops I ment Gelato. He is usually the highlight of the week. Pathetic right? He serves the worlds best Gelato and it’s cheap.

Friday we hung out and did nothing but clean and laundry. So we wouldn’t have to worry about it the rest of the week. It was nice. Saturday went to the Easter Market and in german it’s called Ostermarkt. So much fun.

We didn’t find the pretty eggs. Well we did but it was so crowded that we couldn’t get close. I will make up for that next sunday. They had a car show and racing. Paul promptly volunteered to take the kids and get them out for a bit. Spring break this week. So I could enjoy downtime. WOO HOO! I enjoyed every minute.

This week I will be back on track with our normal posting. Including sharing my mothers Potato Salad recipe that is a hit. Just becasue I can.
