Here is More of Idar Oberstein.
They are known for the gemstones. Paul and I walked past this little market and it had the coolest lights. I thought about it but wasn’t sure. Then we went further down and fell in love with the Crystal Rock Salt Lamp. I gives off the most pretty Amber glow. I can easily convert it when we move to the states.

not overly heavy. The weight is less than a 5 pound sack of potatos
I love these too! I bought a one from Amazon.com, and they made a mistake and shipped a case! I have them all over the house, and apparently they are healthy too! They are supposed to ionize all the positive ions to neutral in the air as the water in the air dissolves the salt or something. I dont know but they make great little bedlights in kids rooms:)
